In response to the hail last week and cold snap this weekend, we have had to make the tough decision to call the season. While we were hoping for a few more weeks, sometimes we must acquiesce to the ways of Mother Nature. But first, we want to thank each and every one of our LandDonors, CSA members, FreshList-ers and growing partners for supporting this renewed way of providing our community with healthy, organic food. Even if you did not place an order this season, the fact that you have shown interest is important and appreciated. We are proud to say that this year we saw growth in all manners - we experienced some of our most abundant harvests, the ability to reach a broader demographic, substantial family-sponsorships, and the wonderful feeling of increasing the amount of food we have been able to donate each week to FamilyWorks Family Resource Center & Food Banks - all because of your support! Of course, there have also been a few bumps in the road and we thank you for your patience as we navigated what it meant to have a family-owned and run small business in the time of covid. Please know we are dedicated to learning and improving and next season, there will be a few changes, based on your welcome feedback. So, what's next? From time-to-time, we will be sending out quick updates - as we do have some winter crops and we are planning for a Thanksgiving week delivery. Let us know if you'd like to be added to the list for this special one-off (delivery would happen that Tuesday). For those of you who are interested in providing the gift of good food during the Holiday Season - we are offering gift certificates, available now. Feel free to reach out to learn more!
