Jon here - I know what it feels like when you don’t know where your food comes from. It’s one of the reasons I decided to grow food - both in my own yard and in multiple yards across Seattle. I don’t just grow food because I love to grow vegetables - I do this because I want to help my neighbors reconnect with their food and with their community. I want to connect neighbors with neighbors,
and food with people - whether they are experiencing abundance or find themselves in a time of need. I want people to know the hand that feeds them - whether its me, your neighbor 5 houses down or one of our food producing partners. This coming week, we will be celebrating National #CSAWeek. It's the most popular week of the year to sign up for a CSA farm membership. CSA farmers across the country (including us!) need your support now for a successful harvest this year. Will you join us in our endeavor? In doing so, you’ll get a weekly or every other week, share of veggies from our growing sites and the chance to make something truly delicious and nutritious in your kitchen. (Plus you’re supporting a local farmer and feeding your community members!) Check us out at www.jonthefarmer.com to learn more about what we offer, sign up for our FreshList to gain FIRST access to our open enrollment (and many more perks), sponsor a family..... #ItTakesAVillageToFeedAVillage #CSASeattle #SeattleCSA We love observing the process. Seeds to starts to transplants to your table. Organically grown for you!
