After some thought, and considering we are starting our first round of CSA deliveries next week and have lots left to do, instead of a pop- up....we are gonna have a tomato (and a few other options) start sale in the driveway with the kids!

​Friday the 13th comes with lots of superstitions and food growers have a few whacky ones. And after the start to this Spring, we are not pushing our luck!
Here's one: "Parsley and basil will only grow if you curse at them vigorously when planting. (Is it just me, or does swearing seem to go hand-in-hand with every one of my free-time activities?) Parsley, in particular, is difficult because apparently the seed must travel down to the Devil seven times before it germinates. But if you can finally get it to grow, it will show that you’re an honest man."
