"Farm Partner Highlight: None of this food distribution would be possible without the support of amazing donors and partners who help us keep our food banks stocked with fresh, beautiful produce and groceries. To show our appreciation for all they do for our community and participants, we're starting a Farm Partner Highlight series on our blog.
Our first highlighted partner is Jon the Farmer - Urban Farmer! Jon, his wife Dawn, and their team donated over 1,000 pounds of amazing produce to our food banks in 2020. We had a chance to talk with Jon about their work in Seattle, the value of farming for all people, and horticultural and educational benefits of seaweed!
