Did I become a sunflower lover??

Many of my friends know sunflowers freak me out. Like since I was a kid. This season I would walk thru the garden and see a leaf and say, that's pretty. Or I would see a shoot and comment that it was so cute. I would work around a long and lean stem and really see proof that something beautiful was bound to result. Observe the start of a bloom and I'd think aloud it was really lovely. And each time Jon would say that's a sunflower and laugh a bit. So tonite, as I took this picture during my mid-evening garden break I realized...I have become a lover of the dreaded sunflower.
