Today we celebrate Jon the Father . I am a lucky lady (and he a lucky lad) for having landed this guy to be our children's dad. Shout-out to the pops out there that are in the game, making it happen for the kids.

LarryPotter stickers - for a cause

Thanks go out to Heather for this latest round of great stickers for Larry Potter.
Regarding the H2whOa one, "....this is from my mom's community in rural Nevada where they've been fighting LV to retain their water for years"
And the ReUse one, while we tend to be Second Use folks (Jon worked for many years there, many years back) - both small businesses have a great mission, around sustainability.
There is a LOT being said with this selection. What say you? Send us some that mean something to you!

Bigger Isn't Always Better

Bigger Isn't Always Better. "When you push plants to grow bigger and faster, they will. But they are often not able to absorb nutrients at that same higher rate."
This has been on my mind for quite some time. The assumption that a bigger vegetable at harvest is a better vegetable. In addition to not having as many of the benefits of all of the potential nutrients, the taste can often be compromised, too. Finding a balance is key.
Here's an interesting article on the topic: ubiquinol.org/blog/are-today-s-fruits-and-vegetables-getting-less-nutritious?fbclid=IwAR2gUucttaNpVAdd3SEJPYr2KNZjfHny0wO58a7SOaUAPZ3fnmWzUrGqSKc#:~:text=Bigger%20Isn%27t%20Always%20Better&text=%E2%80%9CSince%20that%20time%20several%20studies,bigger%20and%20faster%2C%20they%20will

So yesterday's deliveries had a few hiccups, but we were able to make Kristina (a new Puyallup member) smile with the lovely flower bouquet. We will consider that a win!!
Start of the season glitches are no fun...be we are getting stuff ironed out, step-by-step. Thanks for your patience!
