So, over the last few weeks, we've had lots of folks asking, "What is the FreshList and how does it work"? Well...the FreshList is a great way to support a small food grower (and our partners food growers and artisans) with less of a commitment then being a formal CSA member.
When you join the FreshList, you will receive no more than one weekly email letting you know the current harvest availability. It is a first-come-first-served format, so you want to respond quickly to the outreach. Generally, the additional shares are limited and sell out FAST!! FreshList members also gain early access to starts sales information, seed share opportunities, discounts on products, recipes that coordinate with the week's offerings, invitations to community events and first go at the mid-season CSA membership share registration, prior to anyone else! If this sounds like a good fit, PM us or shoot us an email at [email protected] You can also check us out at www.jonthefarmer.com to learn more about this and sooo much more!! Looking forward to connecting!!

Wanna help measure trends - join the Nature's Notebook crew as a Citizen Scientist. Because the weather helps to predict plant and animal behavior & changes -and- plant & animal behavior helps to predict the weather! https://www.usanpn.org/natures_notebook Jon and I participated in a call this weekend about Citizen Scientists and working with Nature's Notebook! Read the comments to learn more!! #NaturesNotebook #CitizenScientist #EveryObservationMatters As backyard gardeners, weekly hikers, flower growers and animal keepers - just about anyone can participate. Thru observation and record keeping in a pretty sweet app - you can contribute to the study of cycles in plants and animals and have your observations added to a larger database used for all sorts of studies - from climate change to plant preservation. We would LOVE to get fellow community members on a call to learn more!!
No fooling - we are SOLD OUT for the Full 2022 Season. A special shout out to those folks that commit to the full year and support all the upfront work that goes into growing food for so many more people that just themselves. We are grateful for your commitment!
